February 10, 2010 – Bronx, NY : A winter storm hit Riverdale on Feb. 10, blanketing the area in ice and snow. Above, a pedestrian carrying a blue umbrella passes the Chase bank at the corner of W. 231st street and Broadway.
The snow on Feb. 10 got me out of the office, looking for feature photos. This pedestrian’s blue-purple umbrella was a nice match for the awnings on the Chase bank — a photo I made from the 231st street subway platform stairs.
